History

The first meeting of the Tyee Kennel Club was held on March 5, 1970 at the home of Henry and Ann MacHemer. Those present included the MacHemers, Bill and Arlene Fraser, Mr and Mrs W. Pitt, Doris Moulin,
Betty Sommerfield, Vivian Fraser, Joan Haynes, Molly Peterson, Gertrude Placzek,
Lynda McCoy, Mr. L. Beaman, Helen Washington and Eleanor Palmer.

From this group a new club was formed and the first executive was elected.
